These job boards are free for both hiring managers and candidates.
It is free to post your job or resume. It is free for hiring managers to login and look at
the candidates resumes and see who updated their resume most recently.
It is free to email out your job announcement. It is free to add candidates to your short list. I limit you to looking at 20 candidates, just so that nobody
abuses the system and downloads the entire database.
You get a nice list of candidates who have applied to your job, or who you are interested in it.
You can sort your candidates, and comment on them.
So how do I make money? By charging recruiters, if and only if, their client hires one of my candidates.
Most people love this financial model. They hate recruiters, and so they like a free job board that charges recruiters.
Of course I love recruiters. Why? Because that is how I make my money. So everyone is happy.
On a more serious note, most job postings and candidate resumes should be free. There are only some specialty
candidates whose resumes are worth something, and those are the ones that are sought by recruiters. What I am doing is
creating a website that explicitly reflects the natural market economics. And that is of course a very powerful business model.
This job board is spam free. Managers post their job. We mail it out and only then can candidates apply. They can only apply once.
Candidates cannot spam the managers. Managers really like that. And in this market managers get what they want. Which means we get the candidates the jobs they want.
What if you need more resumes? It is a free job board, but it may not have the right candidate for you. If you need more candidates,
we recommend using our job board widgets, and posting them on other websites where these candidates hang out.
First find the websites where your
target candidates spend their time, and advertise our post-resume widget there. You will get an email notification
as each new candidate posts their resume.
